I’m new to this world or organized PR —
flashback 15 months ago, “what’s that you say? you claim to have guidelines I can use to back up my intuition? . no kiddin. how about I sit down and I’ll pay you to tell me them.”
I’m a 38 year-old college student with between 10 and 15 years experience in Business Communications and Production in the high tech environment – mainly software development. I worked mostly on my own in medium- and small-sized companies and I never knew that I was a PR professional. Now I do.
Soon I will have to reconcile the roles of hand-held student and professional communicator when I attempt to clear the entry-level positions of my classmates.
