What is going on with the people of North America?

All the manufacturing jobs have moved to such countries where companies pour melamine into consumer food products and where workers rise up to bludgeon CEOs of automotive parts manufacturing plants. here

The US economy is crumbling – I’m pretty sure my potential inheritance has vanished – Bush is pushing  a $700 billion bailout and people haven’t roused past grumpy.  I haven’t even heard anyone ask where the US is going to find all of these billions of dollars after spending so long fighting a war and rebuilding after natural disasters.  Think maybe they are overextending their credit a little? 

It’s already too late to save the planet – our kids are going to grow up to a hard life – and we are just moving along as if everything will smooth itself out if we just ignore it. Yes, all the bad news is making us a little grumpy, but So You Think You can Dance is on tonight so … oh, is that vanilla?

Now, we the people of both countries finally have a chance to remove these school-yard-bully governments. And why wouldn’t we – they have been completely incapable to dealing with these issues.  And y’know what - I don’t think we’re going to do it.  I think the new year is going to find both Canada and the U.S. will have majority oil-bully governments. That is the boot that is gonna smack me right in the gob. 

How could anyone think that these are the people to deliver us from this path of doom? 

I just don’t know what the colour of the sky is in everyone’s world?  Mine use to be blue but it’s getting pretty hazy grey.
